Carlos Reyes played eight Major League seasons, 14 total, as a RH starter/reliever. After signing with the Atlanta Braves in 1991 as an amateur free agent, he was the no. 1 pick in the 1993 Rule V draft for the Oakland A’s. Carlos continued his career playing for the Oakland A’s, San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees. His highlight was in 1996 as the Oakland A’s opening day starter. He was also part of the 1998 San Diego Padres National League Championship team. After winning the 2005 GCL Championship as the Yankee’s GCL pitching coach and the ERA title for his 2006 Yankee’s GCL pitching staff, Carlos spent the 2007 season coaching the New York Yankees’ (A) Charleston Riverdogs. He is currently the 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals’ Rehab coach/Minor League pitching coach since 2008.
